"The system is so easy to use, from the imaging/indexing process to document retrieval. Compared to other systems I have reviewed over the years, this one is by far the most cost efficient and customer friendly."

Scanning Solutions

Scanning can be a complicated and time consuming process or a simple, time conserving, and cost saving solution. Parsons has equipment and software solutions to fit most office environments. MFP's, fax machines, or dedicated scanners can simplify an office environment and help to automate office procedures and distributing costs.

Most software applications or document management systems require specific TWAIN or ISIS compliance. We have limitless opportunities to receive a scan/image in virtually any format to be redirected or deposited within other software applications and databases.

Scanning can drastically reduce faxes and eventually replace fax machines altogether. With new technology offering higher image quality, faster transfer speeds, better encryption technology, and exact recipient destinations with password authentication requirements, faxing has become an outdated and inferior technology. Parsons has multiple sources that capture incoming faxes in order to convert the faxes into images that can be treated just as a scan.

Scanning may also be used to automate processes by reading bar code, zone OCR, or converting text to other word processing applications using OCR conversion (i.e.: MS WORD, WordPerfect). Text can then be searched using total text search software or manipulated within word processing applications.

Color Drop-Out

Red, green, and blue colors can be dropped out to allow the scanned images and data to be presented more clearly for use in OCR and other data capture applications.

Dynamic Threshold Technology

Data contained on documents with backgrounds of various colors and densities is difficult to capture; Panasonic's Dynamic Threshold Technology can automatically detect these background concerns and select the appropriate image enhancement settings to allow for the best possible capture of the data.

Image Enhancement Technology

Image enhancement technology is one of the many outstanding features of Panasonic's line of versatile scanners. Panasonic Image Enhancement Technology is a proprietary technology that can actually improve the quality of your scanned image beyond that of your originals. This technology enables the scanner to interpret and differentiate key information from your original. For instance if you are scanning pages with colored backgrounds, White Level Follow gives the scanner the ability to convert colored backgrounds to white, assuring complete contrast of the information on the page. If the originals have backgrounds comprising of multiple colors in multiple shades, Panasonic's Dynamic Threshold can help.

ISIS - Certified & Twain Compliant Drivers

All Panasonic Scanners come complete with ISIS Certified and TWAIN compliant drivers, maximizing compatibility with imaging software.

RTIV Image Capture Utility

Reliable Throughput Image Viewer (RTIV) is provided with every Panasonic scanner. This utility is capable of utilizing every Panasonic image enhancement technology engineered into the scanner, making it a power image capture utility. With RTIV file management capabilities, scanned images can be saved as .bmp, .jpg, .pdf and .tif files.

Full-Color Duplex Scanning

Panasonic duplex scanners feature one pass duplex scanning; the scanners contain two imaging units—one imaging unit for each side of the document.

Easy-to-Replace Consumables

Panasonic high-yield, easy-to-replace consumables provide optimum output, giving you top performance and prolonging the life of your machine. Rollers easily slide into the guide grooves of the chassis in the scanner.

Imprinters

Imprinters is a practical option that allows for printing customized labels on documents while scanning through the machine. Users can "stamp" documents for purposes of identifying individual sheets for easy archiving and retrieval.
